Sourced with the knowledge of someone who’s worked at every stage of the supply chain.
Newman & Gray isn’t a flooring reseller — it’s a brand built by someone who’s lived the industry from the inside. Founder Clayton Newman spent more than 20 years working with some of Germany and Sweden’s largest timber flooring producers, alongside several of the UK’s most respected distributors, before bringing that experience together to launch Newman & Gray in 2019.
That means every plank, panel, or tile in the range has been chosen with a genuine understanding of manufacturing quality, sourcing, and specification — not simply picked from a catalogue. For customers, it translates into flooring that’s been vetted by real expertise long before it reaches their home.
Because the right floor should complete a room, not just cover it.
Newman & Gray built their reputation on a simple but often-overlooked idea: flooring isn’t just a surface, it’s a core part of a room’s colour story. Their range — spanning real wood, bespoke parquet and herringbone, laminate, and vinyl/SPC — is curated specifically with tone and shade in mind, so it can be matched thoughtfully against cabinetry, walls, and furnishings rather than treated as an afterthought.
The result is flooring that helps a finished space feel considered and cohesive, whether it’s a private residential project or a large-scale commercial fit-out. It’s an approach that’s already proven itself on projects ranging from private homes to WPP’s Manchester headquarters and the award-winning Anchorage development.
